As Long Beach community members, activists and organizers we want to bring together people doing great work in the city of Long Beach on behalf of working people. Our game night is an effort to bring together people who fight for social and economic justice to build community and have conversations that enable us to organize more effectively, efficiently and support our different but common interests in advancing Economic Democracy. We aim to do this while playing board games that also teach us how to better practice democracy and participation as well as facilitation skills through cooperative board games. Cooperative board games are games where you don’t play against other players but instead play cooperative with other players to beat an objective together. Come have a good time with us while practicing democracy and social justice. Come help us build community as we aim to develop a better quality of life for our community and advance Economic Democracy while having fun!
